My name is Andrew McDiarmid, creator and producer of
www.simplyscottish.com. I was born and raised in Edinburgh, Scotland's
capital and in 1990, emigrated to the U.S. with my family. It is in
America that I finally realized what being Scottish meant. A flame
ignited inside me for Scotland that grows brighter every day.
As well as SimplyScottish.com, I have also produced with my father over
140 editions of our radio program, Simply Scottish, that at it's peak
aired in the U.S., Mexico, Canada, and worldwide via this website.
SimplyScottish.com is a nationally recognized entity, having been
featured on national television and printed media throughout Scotland.
We have partnered and worked with some of Scotland's most respected
institutions, including the Scottish Parliament, The Scotsman newspaper,
Scottish Roots, Greentrax Recordings, and more. Our original Scottish
writing and content has been featured in several online and offline
sources, including America Online, Tartans.com, Scottish TV's Scotland
Today, and more, and SimplyScottish.com has earned numerous awards and
bountiful praise for its unique approach to all things Scottish.
