Alexander Shevlinn, aged 44 years,
lives and works in Aberdeen, Scotland. He has a diverse career
background which includes time spent in the Merchant Marines and the
Scottish/English/Welsh Armed Forces. He traveled extensively around
the world in his late teens and early twenties, finally leaving the
Armed Forces in 1982 to work in the Oil industry in Aberdeen, as a
Logistics Coordinator for various top level oil companies.
When the oil recession began in the middle eighties, his search for new employment brought him into the Insurance industry as a Mortgage Advisor, which he continued until beginning studies on a degree in Gaelic Studies at Aberdeen University in 1996. It was while studying in Aberdeen that Alexander developed a strong interest in Scottish and Gaelic Authors. He is currently working on a book about the history of Celtic Religion in Scotland, and runs an Internet Cafe in Aberdeen. Email Alexander with your comments, questions, and suggestions.
